Gremlin and Timmy certainly are cute together, aren't they? I got Timmy when Gremlin was about two years old. I waited until after I got married and we moved upstairs into a 2-bedroom apartment with more space for them to run around and play.
They play a lot now, though to single-cat owners considering getting a second cat, beware that it takes a little time! Gremlin hissed at Timmy for 3-4 days and avoided Timmy for at least another couple days beyond that. They didn't really start playing together until about two weeks had passed. So don't expect your new kitten to get adopted by the first one too quickly. Even if your cat seems to like other cats it's visited, my experience with Gremlin (and from other people's experiences) suggests that cats are extremely territorial.
