Appointments vs. Meetings

Aren't the differences between appointments and meetings interesting?

You have an appointment usually with two people, and it involves your money,
hitting you right where you live. You have a meeting usually in large groups
and it involves *other people's* money or lives.

Now, to get right down to the "meat" of the matter, you have appointments to
meet to discuss the meat of your life, and meetings to point out which people
to appoint.

Leave the English language to be perfectly flowing and consistent.
